1. Operator and scope
These terms set out the rules for using the Aistant website, chatbot and connector tools. Operator's legal name, address and contact email: [TBD]. Official effective date: [To be confirmed].
The features actually provided vary by platform, account permissions and plan. Features under development or not yet available do not constitute a commitment to provide the service.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and only connect third-party accounts you are entitled to use. If you discover unauthorized use, notify us through the officially published support channel.
Minimum age and rules for use by minors: [To be confirmed before official launch]. If you enable the service on behalf of a company, organization or group, you must have the corresponding authority.
3. Group activation and other people's data
Before adding Aistant to a group, enabling message monitoring or providing other people's data, you must confirm that you have appropriate permission and complete any notice or consent required by law and platform rules. Group members may not be registered with Aistant but may still be involved in data processing through group features.
We should also fulfill our own applicable obligations for the data we process. Accessible group data is determined by service permissions and platform verification results; you may not bypass permissions to obtain other people's messages or attachments.
4. AI and automation features
AI may misunderstand messages, people, dates, amounts or instructions. You should verify summaries, translations, to-dos and bill-splitting results, and separately check the original data for important decisions.
Sending, scheduling or reminder actions you authorize may be carried out according to your instructions and settings. Please check recipients, content, time and time zone. Creating a schedule does not mean delivery; platform limits, permission changes or service interruptions may cause delays or failures.
Whether an action requires additional confirmation depends on the actual interface and feature design; these terms do not expand the permissions you have granted to the service.
5. Content and intellectual property
You or the original rights holders retain existing rights to the content you input. You grant us the permission to store, process, transmit and display it as necessary to provide the services you request; this permission is limited by the Privacy Policy, your settings and applicable law.
You must have the right to provide the relevant content. AI output may resemble other people's content, and the rights and permitted uses of output still depend on applicable law and third-party rights. Rights to the Aistant brand, website design and software belong to their respective owners.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the service to unlawfully collect or disclose personal data, infringe intellectual property rights, harass others, send spam, distribute malware, or engage in any other illegal activity.
You may not impersonate others, circumvent access controls or plan allowances, steal credentials, or interfere with the service in ways that affect other users.
7. Plans, fees and refunds
If paid services are offered, prices, currency, billing cycle, allowances, renewal and cancellation terms will be clearly shown before purchase. You should be able to review the applicable terms before paying.
Pre-payment consent and the 7-day right of rescission: This service is a digital service provided online and is activated immediately after payment. Under Article 19 of Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act and the Guidelines on Reasonable Exceptions to the Right of Rescission in Distance Sales, we clearly inform you before payment and only begin providing the service after you check the box to agree; once you agree, the 7-day right of rescission (cooling-off period) does not apply to paid plans. If you don't agree, you won't be charged. The time of your consent is recorded on your bill.
Monthly plans: Non-refundable after payment. You can cancel or downgrade at any time; the current paid plan and allowances remain available until the end of the period, and the new plan applies from the next period.
Annual plans: 12 months are charged up front. Within 14 days of payment (the actual number of days is as shown on the payment page), you can request a full refund under “Billing → Transactions” in the Account Center. After the refund, the annual plan ends immediately and reverts to the free plan, and any scheduled plan for the next period is also canceled. No refunds after this period; you can use the plan until it expires. Only the currently active annual plan is eligible for a refund; old bills for plans that have since been upgraded are not.
Upgrades take effect immediately and start a new period from the time of payment; downgrades take effect after the current period ends. Free (NT$0) plans adjusted by us on your behalf are not eligible for refunds. Unused tokens and relayed-message allowances do not roll over and cannot be redeemed for cash.
These terms do not exclude any rights consumers may exercise under law; where the law provides otherwise, the law prevails.
8. Third-party services
LINE, Slack, ChatGPT and other connected services have their own terms and data policies and may change their features, permissions or availability. When connecting third-party services, confirm the scope of authorization and where your data flows.
Third-party trademarks and names belong to their respective owners; integration or compatibility does not imply official partnership or endorsement.
9. Suspension, termination and account deletion
To address unlawful use, abuse of permissions, security incidents or other service risks with specific grounds, we may restrict related features or suspend accounts; where law and circumstances permit, we will provide the reason and a way to appeal.
You can stop using the service or disconnect related connections at any time. Disabling monitoring, unlinking and deleting your account are different actions; only deleting your account erases your personal data.
Account deletion: You can request account deletion under “Profile” in the Account Center or through support. After the request, a 30-day cooling-off period begins (the actual number of days is as shown on the request screen). During this period, group commands, background services and the ChatGPT plugin stop immediately, and you can log in to the Account Center to cancel at any time, which restores the service immediately. When the period ends, your personal data is erased and cannot be recovered.
What is erased and retained: When the period ends, your connected LINE, Slack and email identities, personal preferences, nicknames, channel service settings, scheduled messages and private message content are erased. Messages you sent in groups are part of that group's conversation history and are retained, but no longer associated with your account. Billing, subscription and usage records are retained, as required for accounting and by law, in a form no longer linked to your personal data. After deletion, the same LINE or Slack account can sign up again as a new account, but the original account's data and settings cannot be recovered.
Deleting your account does not refund any unused paid period. If your annual plan is still within the refund period, please request a refund before deleting your account.
We may delete an account due to violations of these terms or as required by law, and will notify you of the scheduled deletion date via LINE; such deletions can only be canceled or disputed through support. Data retrieval and appeals contact: [TBD].
10. Liability, changes to terms and disputes
We are liable in accordance with applicable law. The service does not guarantee that AI results are fully accurate, that messages will always be delivered, or that the service will never be interrupted; this statement does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Material changes to these terms should be communicated in a reasonable manner before they take effect, along with the effective date and the actions users can take. Governing law, dispute resolution and jurisdiction: [To be confirmed based on the operating entity and service markets, preserving mandatory consumer protections].
